Biography & Resume'

In 1991, three years after moving to San Francisco, my quest for learning hands-on-style took me to Orlando. Its eclectic character offered up plenty of wells to quench my thirst for challenging adventure. I began consulting in industries new to me, including publishing, health and wellness, and massage therapy. Attracting clients like, Weight Watchers created an opportunity for me to write, research, and record health and wellness tips on the radio.

My blossoming respect for therapeutic massage landed me on the pages of Massage Magazine writing about business development, which later morphed into a career in publishing.

In 1993, I published a newsletter to educate consumers about the health benefits of massage therapy. My romance with publishing lured me into working alongside a Publisher of regional economic development hardbound photojournals in 1996. As Associate Publisher, I interviewed (and sold to) C-level executives and civic leaders around the country ensconced in every nuance - from conception to completion - of hardbound book publishing.

Orlando became home, and this new career in publishing became my life for over ten years – with a small break to battle (and beat) a life-threatening illness, Systemic Lupus.

Traveling around the country came to a screeching halt in 1998. So, I quickly found the artist within and sold my functional art under a new company, ArtsAndLupus, to raise money for lupus research. During my recovery, Howie Dorough’s Wings of Hope Lupus Foundation honored me with the role of Keynote Speaker at their 2000 World Conference.

Once back on my feet, I returned to publishing and ultimately refined my niche in business development and writing in 2004. My passion for helping people and businesses achieve their respective dreams and goals drives me daily.

Always looking to turn a challenge into a success, I would be honored for the chance to turn yours around.
